I refuse to take this test. I don't know what my IQ is. I've never taken a test. I think I would be really sad to take one and find out it's, like, 107. (I suspect mine is somewhere in the 120s, but I'm going to do my best to avoid confirming or denying it.)
It is def having an impact. Only "real" IQ test I ever did put me at 144 IIRC, and that basically tracks with my SAT. But my subtest performance was practically Ashkenazi. So we're all getting cucked for sure.
I came in at 123. I do think I should have skipped some of them, never really picked up that testing habit. I've always focused on being right more so than maximizing my score, which would explain why I scored decently high despite leaving probably 8 blank. And if it's worth anything, this was my 3rd online IQ test.
I've never regarded myself as a quick thinker, just someone who is able to think deeply and put things together (preferably with paper or a chalkboard) given a reasonable amount of time. If I retook it, probably I'd get closer to 130, but I'm willing to say this is pretty close to my "true" score. On the bright side, I was estimating mine to be around 125 anyway, so I guess I was pretty close to the estimate.
121 on this, have never taken a real IQ test to compare. 121 is a lower percentile than my standardized test scores were back in the day, so it’s fair to say I’m more of a wordcel.
Fucking hell man. That test should come with a headache trigger warning. Now I appreciate the shape rotator vs wordcell thing. I thought I would bomb this thanks to having a diagnosed visual-spatial learning disability (think the extraverted version of ADD) and getting over 90th percentile verbal but 35th percentile math on the SAT, but...

BTW, to anyone who hits a brick wall thanks to the SAT or GRE... apply abroad. You never know where you might get in without that little millstone being required.

lmao I would be extraordinarily surprised if you were under 130 but fair enough
By the way, nobody cares about this anymore, but I did end up taking the test a couple weeks ago and got exactly 130. 🤷🏽♂️

I got 138 too, but I admit I kinda got bored toward the end and guessed without thinking much.
Haha. I came in at 117 but I am definitely a wordcel
69
I got 119 but I got bored and then just randomly skipped the last 5 or so!
take it again pls
135
130, though I guessed on a couple
142.
galaxy brain!
I got 96 which is super weird. I remember my IQ being around 112.
I knew it wasn’t as high as you’d maybe expect but I didn’t think it was that low. I also found the questions frustrating and boring.
I'd be very curious how a wordcel component would change these results. Especially on a platform like Substack.

130. I'm a little surprised, I actually think I'm kind of dumb.
