I’ve got to be suitably drunk to listen to this whole thing.

@9:48 Technically, it exists, but between mothers and sons. It’s called fetal microchimerism- Male fetal progenitor cells persist in maternal blood for as long as 27 years postpartum. In this way, a mother can carry her son's DNA for years or decades after pregnancy. The cells can be found in the mother's blood, bone marrow, skin, liver, and brain.

This kinda information is often intentionally misinterpreted, similar to the “body count” and bonding theory. The bonding hormones people always talking about are more relevant between mothers and their newborn babies after child birth, not necessarily sexual partners. So by their logic, a woman should expect to have a weaker relationship with her fifth baby, and therefore should only have one child. 😂 In reality, the youngest child is often the one that parents are most attached to. Secondly, that hormone is released during orgasm. As we all know, that’s not a forgone conclusion for women during sex, and you don’t need to have sex with anyone to have an orgasm.

A lot of this information is twisted up to support particular preferences that people have. I wish people would just be open about their desires and leave biology out of it.

Great lyrics. You need to write a musical.

Yeah, this was pretty illuminating. Holy Christ. Had to write an essay for a the restack; I'd really love for more people to hear this. If nothing else, it was very interesting, but you know... in a gossip magazine kind of way. Stay safe guys: putting this stuff out there is pretty bold -- let's see if the strategy pays off. Oof.

You need to watch The Jolly Heretic's podcast on oral sex. He explains the biology of it all and why it's entirely natural and even necessary.
