Oh, and what about Taoism and even some forms of Buddhism being the Oriental versions of Libertarianism or Anarchism? I hear that a lot LOL.

I wonder if you or any other of your buds will ever talk about how Uighurs have some ancestry from the Tocharians, who were Indo-Europeans who settled in Xinjiang before the Turkic peoples and Chinese conquered them. I know some Roman soldiers were supposedly settled in the area as well by the Persian Empire.
In a future podcast, you should discuss about the Manchus and about Manchuria, since that isn't discussed too often. Maybe throw in the Inner Mongols, and even possibly about the "Turanians", which was about how the Japanese, Koreans, Turkic Peoples, and Uralic peoples (Finns, Hungarians, etc) are one group.
At the end of the podcast, I don't see what's wrong with the Chinese nor German languages becoming extinct in our country. J. Daniel Sawyer was right to say that letting in Germans was just as much of a mistake as letting in the Chinese and the Mexicans.
If you put anything in front of American or any other nationality it is no longer that. I am so sick of hyphenation with few exceptions, especially since it doesn't make sense when you aren't a citizen of that country nor have even been there.
It seems more like Americans are assimilating more to foreign cultures than are any immigrants assimilating to the American culture(s), and that is what has led to it's breakdown.
America needs an Ataturk or a Reza Shah Pahlavi, if we're really serious about saving our empire.
